Zero-Emission Hydroge Powered Car is the Future

Honda (me too) was always dedicated to Hydrogen fuel cell energy technology.
Honda has long history of environmental leadership dating back to a time when green was simply a color.
The new Honda FCX Clarity FCEV* is officially out on the road. A limited number of these groundbreaking vehicles are currently being leased to select Southern Californians. Honda plans to deliver about 200 FCX Clarity FCEVs to customers in the first three years of our fuel cell lease program.
Zero-Emission, Hydrogen fuel cell driven electric car, Bio fabrics, reinforced body, maximal safety, comfort and great eco design.

The Home Energy Station, generates hydrogen from natural gas, designed to provide heat and electricity for the home through fuel cell co-generation and to supply fuel for a hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles.
I WANT MORE! I am a maximalist. The disadvantage is that above Honda energy station is based on natural gas. Gas is still in the system! We do not need it. Hydrogen we can have from water (H2O) by electrolysis by electricity and... the electricity we can get from clean renewing sources like sun or wind or geothermal sources. So why we need gas? Hydrogen works like a small battery. Each H2 molecule can store 1 electron. The stored energy we get back when we burn the H2 in the fuel cell and water H2O is again at the end...and the circle starts again from water hydrogen from Hydrogen energy and water again.
You have too much adrenaline? Soon you can push the Hydrogen pad instead of the old gas...oline pad.

*FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) The fuel cell combines hydrogen with oxygen to make electricity. The electricity then powers the electric motor, which in turn propels the vehicle. Water is the only byproduct the FCX Clarity FCEV leaves behind.

there is also a model of an electric car made in Germany.. it will be possible in the next moth also to rent it with SIXT, the big renting car company… they bought 975 ecars for the next two years in order to offer it to their customer in Germany…

i really love the idea of an electric car, bmw or otherwise but the running costs so far have shown to be higher than any petrol or diesel car, it will be interesting to see if the hydrogen car from Honda will be any better. Great post.
