The Alphabet of Climate Change

A is for adapting to climate change rigors.

B is for biodiversity and everything it triggers.

C is obviously connected to our carbon footprint,

D is for diversity and design for environment.

E is extreme weather people on Earth face,

F is for fossil fuels that leave zero trace.

G is global warming and all the green house gases,

H is holistic thinking replacing narrow-mindedness.

I is for industrial ecology and innovations,

J is for justice building sustainable relations.

K is for Kyoto which no longer stands.

L is for LEED – a goal for all brands.

M is for mitigation and mission and mark,

N is for NGOs that light in the dark.

O is for organic not for overconsumption,

P is for pollution urging us to take action.

Q is for quality of air we all inhale,

R is for resources that won’t become a tale.

S is for sustainability, we have to remember,

T is the tipping point – coming this December.

U is for UN – with its each and every member.

V is for values and vision we share,

W is for waste reduction, a tricky affair.

X is the chromosome present in all humanity,

Y is for Yes, our planet’s not vanity.

Z is for Zero losses, for Earth’s return to safety.

I don’t remember the kindergarden books very clearly, but I know my fav book was with a kid who rode a cat and loved dolphins.
