Road to Durban is a unique media campaign of CNN which might bring back focus on the important issues of Climate Change, Energy Saving, Green Economy.
The show explores and intruduces various cities making real efforts in reducing their carbon footprint.
Road to Durban: The Sanergy Circle:
The long journey begans in UK, going through Germany, Turkey and Kenya than heading to Durban, South Africa where the COP17 the 17th session of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) will be held in December 2011.
Along the way, a team of experts will examine the planning, environmental and sustainability issues facing today's cities, as well as the green initiatives being developed to tackle them.
Hope climate change, environment protection does not lose too much from its importance and position in people's mind, agenda because the current EU and world financial crisis and misery. Important not to let money, oil, finance, stock exchange ruin everything more as it is.
Let all of us join this grand tour and show the world what we are doing in our European cities to tackle climate change and reduce our carbon footprint.
