LET US WIN A BROAD PUBLIC!

Dear Bloggers: Let us win a broad public!

'TH!NK ABOUT IT climate change' is ‘twittering’ your blogs. That’s a fantastic chance to attain a widespread audience. Between ourselves: Please don’t settle for that!

Use your own twitter-account or create your own to send each of your blogs directly to the twitter-account of COP 16. It will appear on the official website of the Conference of Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Cancun/Mexico.

http://cc2010.mx/en/

So if only 15 bloggers of TH!NK ABOUT IT are  chosen to report from the Conference let us convey our messages to the twitter-audience of COP 16 at least and we will catch the COP16-Admin’s attention.

For twitter-novices:

  •  Create your account

Twitter your blog:

  • Copy the address of your TH!NK ABOUT IT - Blog
  • Paste it in your Twitter-Window
  • Complete it with a tag of your blog’s title in front of it
  • and at least append @COP16 in front of your whole entry

And needless to say that you can twitter your blog wherever and whomsoever you want to!

LET US WIN A BROAD PUBCLIC.

And hey, thanks to Laszlo Keki !!

He commented this blog below.

I hook up with him and I just have created my new ECO TWEET - ACCOUNT.

Hi Marcel,

Thanks, fully agree with you.
I am doing (exercising) it already.

So much the more, as we can not be everywhere and do everything in the same time I think we “the 16 eco tweeters” will unit the powers and make an ad hoc mobile “Redaktion” and split the tasks between us so may be someone will be responsible especially for managing tweeter and sharing and publicity.

What do you think about the new EcoTweet? grin http://climatechange.thinkaboutit.eu/think4/post/win_with_new_ecotweet

Funny but not perfect yet.  http://www.ecotweet.com/index.cfm Does not speak well English, prefers better Spanish…

Marcel Rolf Hoffmann on 22nd November 2010:

That’s great. Thank you for information.
But tell me:
The official COP 16 website shows the ECOTWEET-entries right?
Will appear all eco-tweets? Do I have to add @EcoTweetOficial in front of my tweet-entry?
Best wishes back to you! Marcel

Laszlo Keki on 22nd November 2010:

No, seems to be it does not, yet, so better it you add it
Visit EcoTweet enter with your regular Twitter account id and passworld and subcribe than you can win also.

Johan Knols / Editor-in-Chief on 23rd November 2010:

Thanks Marcel for this information. I think it is a good idea to also add tweets to @COP16.
I assume that bloggers with a Facebook account also post their articles there…..

Laszlo Keki on 23rd November 2010:

May be TH!NK can arrange for us?
Than we do not need to tweet each every one…

Welcome everyone help to give us ideas how we can reach better the broad publicity!

May be we will be better than the media moguls, and we still non profit.

I think videos may help a lot. I am planning to prepare and upload video reports each day to youtube and vimeo.

Which I am sure we have to unite our powers divide the tasks and post together also.

Marcel Rolf Hoffmann on 23rd November 2010:

GREAT.
@Johan: Thanks for supporting. Yes of course, I agree, let us use our facebook-accounts. But COP 16 - facebook-site will give you not the possibility to post text, links, pictures or viedos. That is understandable but also annoying.
BUT WE CAN publish the TH!NK-blogs there below the menue-button “discussions”.
Let’s do it - Link to COP 16 via Facebook.com:

@Laszlo: Very good idea. Please go on with that wink
