Guilty on climate change: I admit, we won`t change

Published 19th October 2009 - 1 comments - 879 views -

Well, I admit, I couldn`t manage to write a post on the blog action day. But I am really happy that lots of people here, on the platform, and among the bloggers in my country (Bulgaria) did write one.

And still... I didn`t write an article but I did work on climate change issues. Even not alone, but in a great international team hosted by the EU parliament in Brussels for a workshop called "New media: all interactive, all public?"

You could download the magazine we made here.

I guess the cover talks for itself. Some members of the team made a survey what people are willing to give up in order to slow down the global warming and it seems...we prefer talking more than acting.

You could also read about different ways of recycling and myths related to it. As well as what some MEPs have to share with us about climate change.

Two participants in Th!nk About IT II , Joeri Oudshoorn and me, we wrote a joint article: "-20% CO2 reduces footprint?".

Enjoy reading!

Paul Montariol on 16th November 2009:

I suggest:
Take one person and say him:
Next year you reduce your emissions of 3%
The year after you reduce 3%,
The year ..  3%, and so on ..
Take the image in your mind which arrive with that ask.
Then, you say:
Next year you must produce 3% of new energy of that you consume,
The year after 6%, then 9% ...
Take the image in your mind and compare the two images. Which one you prefer?
