Green Days
Published 22nd November 2009 - 1 comments - 1336 views -

In the next days, up to the end of autumn, two local NGOs - MAI BINE (Better) and TERIS - join forces to transform Iasi (the city where I live) into a green oasis aimed at educating behaviors and attitudes towards the environment in a week long event.
Green Days will be held between November 23 and November 29. Designed as a component of IaSi Recicleaza (Iasi Recycles) programme, Green Days will focus on several activities:
* Thematic exhibitions;
* Workshops "Responsible consumption for a sustainable development";
* Projections of environmental documentaries (Age of Stupid is one of the movies to be screened);
* Collecting paper and batteries for recycling purposes;
Except for the workshops that are restricted to 20 persons each, all other activities are opened for whoever is interested in protecting our nature.
Therefore, my articles (& hopefully more videos) next week will focus on this event.
If you would like to learn more about us, our sustainable struggles and how people here understand to work together towards a green future, now is the best time to do it. I'll be your eyes and ears, so feel free to shoot your questions if you have any.
