TH!NK4 Competition NEWS!

Published 15th November 2010 - 15 comments - 2798 views -

After a long and tough judging session, the TH!NK4 jury will be announcing the winners of the tickets to COP16 in Cancun tomorrow,  Tuesday 16 November.

Due to the high quality and quantity of articles, the European Journalism Centre is very happy to announce that not 15, but 16 competitors will make the trip to cover the COP16 event in early December.

Please remember that this is only the first deadline of the competition. The final deadline is 15 December: you are still in the race for the MacBook and the two HD flip-cameras!

In the meantime I have created ‘Editor’s Pick: Climate Change News Update’.

Several times a week I provide you with links to articles and videos that are in the news or that are interesting. Read the first post here and click for the second post here.

So stay tuned, keep competing and get set to meet the first 16 winners tomorrow.

Or maybe somehow there will be not 1 mac but 16 macs?

Sanka Chandima Abayawardena on 15th November 2010:

I hope more young men and women are in the selected list. Especially from Global south countries who are not in the bright spot light.

Johan Knols / Editor-in-Chief on 15th November 2010:

@Andrius: Keep on dreaming my friend grin
@Sanka: The only way to find out is to wait until tomorrow.

Johan Knols / Editor-in-Chief on 16th November 2010:

@Kevin,

Hi Kevin, I don’t get your comment….please explain.

Kevin Rennie on 16th November 2010:

It was a tongue-in-cheek response to, ‘I hope more young men and women are in the selected list.” My response is the title of the Cohen brothers’ film and the opening line from Yeats’ poem, Sailing to Byzantium.

Johan Knols / Editor-in-Chief on 16th November 2010:

@Kevin: grin

Diêgo Lôbo on 16th November 2010:

Let’s wait, then…

Pabitra on 16th November 2010:

Hi all and Johan
I’m afraid I will miss the anouncement on account of my preocupation in a remote place. Advance conreatulations to all winners! And yes, the younger they are the better.

Irene on 16th November 2010:

I agree with the 16 macbooks!! And we should then go on commenting until reaching the 16 comments to this article.. No one more, no one less..

Mmm…

Ok.. I am overdoing grin

Johan Knols / Editor-in-Chief on 16th November 2010:

@All,
I have another 16. On the 16th of January is my birthday. So pencil it in! And this was my last comment.
