My name is Aimable TWAHIRWA. , I am 30 Years old, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences and a Diploma in Science Journalism with a special interest in Climate Change and Health Sciences. As a Senior Science Reporter and Editor with an experience of 10 years working for international online magazines, I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Latin America to report on science and technology developments especially topics related to Climate change, where I got opportunity to meet and exchange with Researchers, decision makers and other stakeholders from around the world dealing with this issue. Having said that, I have published a number of Science stories focusing on Climate Change in a number of local and international media including specialized science magazines. I have also attended a number of previous UN Climate Change Conference (COP), where I took part as a reporter in negotiations between parties in Bonn (COP 9), Nairobi (COP12)and Copenhagen (COP 15). As far as my interest on Climate change issue is concerned, I have also been invited at several occasion as a key note speaker during Climate change gathering in Bonn (Global Media Forum - June 2010) and in Accra (Ghana - September 2010) for special dialogue between scientists and Media on Climate Change and Wetland Management. I am currently part of Climate Change Diplomacy course organized by Malta University.
