My name is Florah Mmereki from Botswana. I report environmental issues here in Botswana and i am the founder of an environmental magazine which i work for Wena (YOU) Industry and Environment. The publication was launched in 1999 by the then minister of Minerals Energy and Water Resources Dr Margaret Nasha. Having said that i have already scooped some awards for being the best environmental journalist here in Botswana and outside the country. The publication i work for and founded reports on environmental issues but priority is given to climate chnage issues. The publication has already sensitise members of parliament about climate change as well as Primary and Secondary school students with funding from European Commission in Botswana.
