Naomi Klein, George Monbiot, Andy Revkin and Katherine Goldstein Panel
The last two days of the Copenhagen treaty talks will see world leaders take the stage, brinksmanship reach its highest points and civil society ramp up the pressure. What the media think and report over these two important days, will play a major role in shaping the final outcome of the Copenhagen talks.
Top online and traditional media reporters discuss their thoughts and opinions on what the Copenhagen Climax will look like. I am now at the Fresh Air Center and we've been anounced about a big media panel to happen here tonight. It will start at 7:15 and will feature:
- Andrew Revkin, award-winning environmental journalist for the New York Times
- George Monbiot, Guardian columnist (also see Benno's Monbiot at Klimaforum) and author of Heat: how to stop the planet from burning
- Naomi Klein, syndicated columnist and author of the The Shock Doctrine.
- Katherine Goldstein, Green Editor for the Huffington Post
Videos with each will follow as soon as I manage to film, edit and upload everything, so stay tuned.
If you have questions for the panelists, drop them in the comment section, I may just be able to ask them for you.
Stay tuned!

Are we still on time for some good talk Adela? What’s on tonight?
Thank you giving us what happens.
I hope you will have opportunities of meeting interesting persons.
Half more hour and the panel starts.
It takes a LOT of time to upload everything on Vimeo, so I’ll probably update this post with videos tomorrow.
Vimeo had some issues in the last weeks, but today it worked just fine, I think you should try even now, the connection from thr Hotel is very fast now.
Vimeo still says NO, youtube rejected the video because it’s 16 minutes long and I have no idea how to make it public, so any help is appreciated.
“Copenhagen is when environmentalism became a social movement.”
If not for anything else but for the above quote you should check out the Naomi Klein video.
I’m glad you finally managed Adela
In fact the best one - with G. Monbiot is still not working. YouTube rejected it (it’s too long 16min of footage), Vimeo won’t take it because it’s too large - 600+ Mb) so when I go home I’ll ask a friend who knows his way with the videos to do something so I can upload it, too.
