Food and chemicals?!
This ideas came in my mind after watching two TV series about environment we are living in.
First one about food. How safe and real is food we are using every day. Expecially meat and fish products. As TV show claims you need to be really carefull to get a real and fresh production. There are differences among countries and of course Russia is one of places that are of high danger of getting fake product.
They are looking into scientific evidence and testing products you can find in the market, supermarket and whatever place you desire. The results schocked me for a while. I never knew that you just use liquid smoke to make fish look smoked and sell more expensive.
That you can use pink clothe colour to make shady meat look as totally fresh one.
But fact that surprised me the most was that there is no proper legislation (or punishment) that could make it more safely. The best you can get for it is just some mulct. Nothing really more.
About cleaning agents (or pure dangerous chemical mix) as it appears in Russia teh story is the same. People gain alergies, deaths appear and still no way of bringing legislative system on a wave that it would prevent (or at least to put think twice).
In this moment I ask myself - is really economy, market or juut people so bad?
And here it is not even about saving environment, climate ir thinking about tomorrow. It goes far somewhere back.
If someone have interest (youtube) a series about. Unfortunately in russian language.

Chemicals in food is really a disgusting thing, and really difficult to legislate against also I think… sometimes I miss the days when food was just food, grewn in the lands and not produced in factories.
Miss that too. But chemicals in food is one thing - time goes how I likr to say. But repainting food for sale is disgusting thing!
