The big day of COP15 is tomorrow. However, climate change must have been connected somehow with the sex tourism. Green sex is duty free in Copenhagen in the coming week.

14 days before the summit Copenhagen's mayor Ritt Bjerregaard started sending strange kind of a Christmas greetings. She loaded 160 hotels with postcards to "be sustainable: Don't buy sex and Dear hotel owner, we would like to urge you not to arrange contacts between hotel guests and prostitutes."

There prostitution is legal, but Bjerregaard wanted delegates to focus on emissions, not "emissions". And did the opposite.

The sex workers union, SIO, fighted back in the most awesome way possible: by offering free sex to anyone with a copy of the postcard and COP15 ID badge. Well, if this is not a foxy, I don`t know. Bulgarian audience loved that information and I am almost sure that many new green fans would show out after these news. Some of them shared on comments that they pack up for Copenhagen summit right now!

The organizations spokeswoman, Susanne Møller, told avisen.dk that it is reprehensible and unfair that Copenhagen politicians have chosen to use the UN Summit as a platform for a hetz against oldest proffession workers. This showed up today in the Bulgarian media zone and in “Der Spiegel” before 3 days.

It is Good for the economy, wrote POLITIKEN.Dk. Furthermore, the largest trade union in Denmark, Nyhedsbrevet 3F, called various escort agencies and prostitutes to hear whether they had been busier than normal during the climate conference – and all agreed (sex tourism). It is just like the Russian flow of women, coming for having fun on the Bulgarian seaside.

Dorit Otzen, who leads Reden International, commented: “A lot of men in one place means more work for prostitutes. At the same time we have a government that will not ban prostitution, so in fact we invite visitors to avail themselves of prostitutes.”

I hope our businessmen can take the example as well by building Green – SPA sex hotels or at least Green striptease clubs.  They can give 10% of their takings for environmental issues and have a nice reputation as sex-CO2-reducer-commitmed. Or they can establisha a Green TOP MODEL contest and win from legal prostitution! Again. 

It is good for the environment and for the economy, after all.
